MINI SMA PATCH LEADS:A great deal of equipment now employs the SMA system, fine except that this connector being smaller is much more prone to damage than the PL259 and BNC series and you can't use heavy duty co-ax like RG213/UR67! (just imagine it!)
So we came up with a good idea which has really caught on. Instead of using a single piece adaptor from SMA to BNC, PL259 or N type for example, we make short (approx 150mm) patch leads with SMA plug one end and a variety of free-sockets at the other end. Thereby relieving a lot of strain from the poor little SMA socket.

Please note we use the expensive but reliable solder contact SO239, NOT the cheap pressure contact type.
